It’s the middle of January and it’s the week before the week of the Superbowl. Basically it’s the longest week of the year. It’s the week the Earth stood still. Klaatu barada nikto.
Making matters worse, it’s slow at the office so the days are really draggin’ here. I know, poor me.

The Patriots will practice today and one of the funny quotes from the locker room came from Heath Evans who, in reference to the uproar over Tom Brady getting spotted wearing a walking cast the other day, joked, “I’m going to put on a boot and see if you all follow me around.”
You know what would be funny? If all of the Patriots players started walking around in those walking cast thing-a-ma-bobs as a joke. Even Coach Belichick could wear one. Ha ha!
Well, it would be funny for at least a minute anyway..
Last night saw the end of the Victory Chili from the Pats’ last two playoff games. After being inspired by Michele and her visit to Wienerschnitzel, what was one of my best chili batches ever went out in grand fashion as a phenomenal chili-dog. It was exceptionally hot. And awesome. Tastes like Victory.
Alright. Now you know what I had for dinner last night. Like I said, longest week ever.
